The Kérész Eco- and Active Tourism Center is located in Tiszafüred, directly on the banks of the Holt-Tisza, near the city harbor and the Lake Tisza Cycling Center, in a beautiful natural environment. It is easily accessible from Budapest by car in an hour and a half – M3 motorway, Füzesabony branch, then further on the main road 33. Arriving in the town of Tiszafüred after Poroszló, keep right at the first roundabout, and after 150 meters, cross the railway tracks and immediately turn right again. Continue on this road for another 200 meters, and then the Kérész Center building appears.
The Kérész Center can be reached by train with several transfers, on the Budapest – Füzesabony, Füzesabony – Tiszafüred line.
Parking for 44 cars is provided in the closed parking lot on site. There is a suitable parking space for buses along the road leading to the building, immediately after the railway crossing, on the left. From there, the Kéresz Center can be reached on foot in just 3 minutes, within a distance of 150 meters.
Next to the building of the Kérész Eco- and Active Tourism Center, in the closed parking lot, you can also use electric car and bicycle chargers – at your own expense.

Guided tours of QUEST-THINK-SPACE for the year 2024:
With our experienced guides, 25 people can view the QUEST-THINK-SPACE exhibition at the same time. Since there are three different rooms (bean bag cinema, QUEST-THINK-SPACE exhibition hall, natural science lab), it is comfortably possible for two groups of 25 people to move at the same time without disturbing each other. Thus, in each month, we are starting professional guidance with 50 people in the following tours:

round 3: 12.45 p.m. – 2.15 p.m.
round 4: 2.30 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.

Upon the arrival of our visitors, they give information to their reception staff about the currently starting specialist guidance and the number of available places. If they arrive between two shifts, they are happy to help fill the waiting time with in-house and out-of-house program suggestions.

MoreOur prices are per person and in HUF, they include VAT. In the case of outdoor programs, the fee per person, group or device is indicated separately.

Accessibility
MoreFrom the very beginning, the Kéresz Center has placed great emphasis on equal opportunities. For us, every guest’s visit is a special pleasure, and at the same time a value, so we also pay close attention to our fellow disabled people.
Outside the building, two separate parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility ensure a smooth arrival. The entrance, the ramps, the disabled elevator are all helpful for moving around the building.
For our guests with limited vision, we have also provided the individual inscriptions with Braille, to facilitate orientation within the building.
The use of an induction loop makes the experiences of our hearing-impaired guests at the exhibition easier. We try to help them in everything, so we also provide discounted ticket prices for the companions of our guests with disabilities.
Harbor’s rules
MoreThe city of Tiszafüred has increased with another mooring opportunity. The Kérész Center, which has a direct connection to the water, has a floating jetty suitable for small boats, boats and other watercraft (kayaks, canoes, SUP). The jetty can be used during the opening hours of the Kérész Center, as well as during occasional events.
The port of the Kérész Center is a pleasure port, with only incoming and outgoing target traffic. It is not possible to rent space for continuous use in the port.
Its operating period lasts from March 15 to November 15, of course it can also be used during this time under the conditions of adequate water level and safe access.
During the opening hours, visitors arriving at the port of the Kérész Center have a washroom, free Wi-Fi service, and the possibility to dispose of selective waste.
