Lake Tisza can be explored by rowing or motorized boat tours. You can explore it individually, go with a guide, or even set off on a chartered boat that you drive yourself. The tiny islands, backwaters, sloughs and cubical pits of Lake Tisza are unique habitats where you can find the wonders of flora and fauna in every season. Along its shores, we can see kingfisher roosts, spectacular beaver castles, herons hunting for prey on fallen trees, and sometimes we can catch a glimpse of an osprey in the air. Owls, ospreys, geese, cranes and ducks can be observed in autumn.

With the help of boats, a much larger area can be covered at a comfortable pace. The Kérész Center provides mooring opportunities for 16 ships in its own port. It’s the perfect place to refresh yourself, and while gazing from the terrace with a good coffee, you can forget about the rush of everyday life.
